    Forum Equity Partners

    Development

Forum Equity Partners’ experience in acquiring and developing single tenant properties allows it to offer a wide range of options when it comes to the development of a new generation of arenas and recreational facilities across Canada. Its team of experienced real estate professionals ensures smooth  progress as well as the timely delivery of any projects undertaken.

Since 2002, Forum has built/bought, developed, and sold $500 million and more than 800,000 square feet in real estate. Forum brings to the table the knowledge, experience, expertise and sophistication to create customized, cost-effective solutions when it comes to the much-needed development and renewal of Canada’s sport and recreational facility infrastructure.

    Municipal Alternative Finance and Procurement

One of Forum Equity Partners’ key strengths lies in the area of public-private partnerships (P3). The P3 delivery model can be an effective alternative for financing and procurement for municipalities seeking to either upgrade their recreation facilities or build new ones. To date Forum has entered into four such partnerships including the $225 million Orleans Town Centre in Ottawa.

Because they are cost-effective and flexible, P3s are an increasingly popular delivery model for infrastructure projects across Canada. They are seen as an efficient and innovative vehicle for municipalities with limited capital and resources, allowing them to deliver, in a timely fashion, high-quality sport and recreational facilities.

It doesn’t stop at the delivery of such facilities. Once in place, the P3 structure allows for cost-effective, revenue-maximizing maintenance and operation.
